It has come to my attention that many passengers have complained about the rude behavior of some Transpoway taxi drivers. Please remember that many of our passengers are tourists, and transportation is a significant part of their experience. As such, it is our duty to give them the utmost respect and our best service. Here are some basic guidelines on treating passengers properly.
(A) Be polite. Always smile and let passengers feel that you are happy to serve them. Don’t forget to say "please" and "thank you" whenever necessary.
(B) Be honest. If passengers do not know how to get to a destination, take the fastest route. Do not take advantage of passengers by taking long routes to keep your meter running.
(C) Do not be choosy about passengers. Many people have said Transpoway drivers refused to take them to locations outside the city. Except for security reasons, no driver is allowed to reject passengers.
These are simple points that, if remembered and put into action, will allow us to win back the loyalty of our clients. Please note that the company will continue to solicit comments and suggestions from passengers through its hotline. [br] What are drivers expected to do?
