Things are looking very bad out there on the roads this evening. Road work on the Inner City Bypass is causing long delays throughout the city. Please try to avoid this road if possible. Conditions are not much better for south-bound motorists. A crash on the Southern Highway has meant that the cars are moving very slowly. It looks as if it will take more than an hour to clear the road. The police are recommending that southbound motorists use Smith’s Road or Ranch Road and avoid the Southern Highway if possible. Routes east, west and north are experiencing no undue delays. We will update this report in 30 minutes.
