Good evening, Radio National listeners, and welcome to "Your Live Concert Hour" with Jill Boothby.(83)Tonight we have something very special in store for you—a two-part program featuring two of Asia’s premier folk music acts performing live for you in our studio. In the first part of the program we’ll be listening to the Young Asia Ensemble. This is one of Asia’s most innovative groups, with performers from four different Asian countries who blend a variety of folk styles.(84)In the second half, we’ll hear the Japanese ensemble, Kaito, who specialize in natural acoustic sounds. And don’t forget that both of these groups will be performing this weekend at the World Folk Festival.(85)
