This is Dean Steele from Metro Weather on Channel 12. As all of you know, a massive thunderstorm has been raging through the tri-county area causing some minor flooding and widespread power outages. The good news is that a high-pressure system is blowing in behind the storm,(78)so the skies will be clearing up and all rain should stop by early afternoon. Watch out, though! That high-pressure is bringing colder air from the northeast,(79)so make sure you take a jacket if you’re going out tonight as temperatures will be dropping as much as 10 degrees in some places.
