Fan Zhe: I’ve chosen A. Staff promotion.
Interviewer: OK. You have one minute to talk. Wang Hao and I will listen to you. Wang Hao, after Pan Zhe’s talk, you have to ask him a question. Now, Fan Zhe, you may start. I’ll stop you at the end of one minute.
Fan Zhe: I think promoting some employees who excel in their current positions to higher and more challenging positions that they are for is crucial to a company’s development.  For one thing, employees who get the promotion could take advantage of this opportunity to take on more responsibility and challenge and to bring their skills and experiences into fuller play se that they could contribute more to the company. For another, it would give other hard working staff the hope that they, too, could get promoted if they work hard.
Interviewer: Thank you. Now, Wang Hao, what is the question you’d like to aak Fan Zhe?
Wang Hao: Do you think there’s a possibility that an  employee  might  rise  to  his  level  of incompetence, you know, the Peter Principle?
Fan Zhe: Yes, of course, it’s possible. But
Interviewer: OK.  Now,  Wang Hao,  it’s your turn. Which topic have you chosen, please?
Wang Hao: I’ve chosen C. Transport.
Interviewer: OK. You have one minute to talk. Fan Zhe and I will listen to you. Fan Zhe, after Wang Hao’s  talk,  you have  to ask  her a question. Now, Wang Hao, you may start. I’ll stop you at the end of one minute.
Wang Hao:  I think it’s very important for a company  to  provide  free  transport  for  its employees. It not only will make sure that the employees can get to work on time, reducing the possibility of their being late for work without company transport, but also will alleviate the stress level of the employees fearing that they might he late. So I think providing free transport for employees is fairly important. It may help ensure better staff performance at work.
Interviewer: Thank you. Now. Fan Zhe, what is the question you’d like to ask Wang Hao?
Fan Zhe: Do you think it’s necessary for every company, big or small, to provide its employees with free transport?
Wang Hao: I think it depends. If the company is really small, for example, with only a couple of employees, it would not be necessary.
