The objective of this report is to comment on the competition we are facing against Linbury and to offer suggestions on how we can gain a competitive edge over our competitor.
Findings
Comparisons have been made between our company and Linbury in three respects, In terms of the number of orders, Linbury still lags behind us presently, which is partly due to the fact that Linbury is new in this industry. But the number of orders we received this year sees a decrease as against last year. By looking into the turnover, it is found that Linbury’s products are sold at a lower price than ours which poses a threat to us. Despite its low price, it has a higher profit margin than us—this shows its product cost is quite low.
After careful comparison and study, I have several suggestions to make. Firstly, we should find some methods to lower our product cost without lowering the product quality.  Secondly, while we need to maintain our old clients. we must look for more potential clients, Thirdly, diversified products will definitely help us open up more markets. So more new products should be developed.
Conclusion
Drastic measures must be taken immediately to ensure we won’t fail in this fierce competition.
