In this part of the test the examiner reads out a scenario and gives you some prompt material in the form of pictures or words. You have 30 seconds to look at the prompt card, and then about 2 minutes to discuss the scenario with your partner. After that the examiner will ask you more questions related to the topic.

I’m going to describe a situation.
Some overseas clients are visiting your company next week.
Talk together about the programs that should be arranged. Decide which three you think are important.
Here are some ideas to help you.(5 min.)

答案 Suggested answers for both candidates:
Formal meeting is recommended to talk over serious issues. Find out the possibility of cooperation between your counterpart and your side. Don’t miss the slightest business opportunity.
Introduce your friends in town to the visitors. Agreement of deals may not be reached by yourself. But your friend can do some helpful persuasion work.
Seeing is believing. Don’t rely on your eloquence to talk the other side over. Show them around the company. You have nothing to lose if your strength is revealed.

Take the clients to the scenic spots, historical events, make them feel relax, and enjoy the city, enjoy the people there. The main purpose might be to let them enjoy the time staying in the city.
