答案   Each year, the China Daily awards a prize to its best journalist. The next award will be made next month and I would like to win it, although I think that my chances are not too high. To win, the journalist must demonstrate that he or she has constantly produced articles of a high quality over the preceding year. This means that the person who has written the best single article over the course of the year is not necessarily the person who will win. The articles should not only be well written, but also thought provoking and well received by readers. I would like to succeed in doing this because it would be an indication that I have been accepted as one of the best journalists at the newspaper and it would certainly improve my career prospects. As I said, I don’t think that I will achieve this, at least not this year, but I can always hope! I think a more realistic hope is to win the prize for the best sports journalist.
