    I am writing to express my apology for having damaged the television in my room. I would like you to know that I am prepared to pay for the repair or purchasing a similar one.
    I was watching TV yesterday evening, with a cup of coffee in my hand. Then I heard the telephone ringing. I put the coffee on the top of the TV and went to the sitting room to answer the phone. It was a friend who asked me to go to a movie. We talked for some time and then I returned to my room. I had totally forgotten the coffee that I left on the top of TV. When I was putting on my coat, somehow I swept the cup over and the coffee spilt, some of which went inside of the TV and caused damage. The TV is not working and I think it needs repairs from professional people.
    I would like to know what I should do.
