答案                   My Attitude Toward Online Shopping
    Thanks to the Internet technology, the 21st century has witnessed a totally new type of purchase: online shopping. People could do shopping just by sitting before the computer and clicking the mouse. However, some people are opposed to it for they think that online shopping is often fraught with unsafety and cheating. As far as I am concerned, buying products online is a good choice.
    First and foremost, online shopping is very convenient. Via the Internet, people could buy a great variety of products ranging from small items such as pens and cups to big ones like beds or refrigerators, without stepping out of the room. And all these products can be delivered to your door, which saves you a lot of time and effort. Compared to traditional shopping, the newly-emerging Internet shopping has revolutionized people’s way of shopping.
    Another reason for my viewpoint lies in the fact that online shopping is rather money-saving. Generally speaking, due to the particularity of the Internet business, the costs of storage, employees and shops are lowered to the greatest extent. Thus the prices of online commodities are much lower than those in the traditional markets. Besides, customers can employ the price-ranking function to select the lowest-price products with satisfactory quality, which can’t be achieved by traditional shopping.
    Thirdly, people are able to buy products which are unavailable in their own area or country. While people living in metropolis may have no trouble buying products they need in the local markets, others in small cities or villages often find it very difficult to purchase their desirable commodities. However, with the aid of the Internet, people could buy commodities which are only available in a distant city, or even a foreign country. For instance, I often buy academic books of German version from Amazon which can’t be purchased in China.
    In spite of the above advantages, someone points out that online shopping is often infested with web bank account fraud and after-service disputes. I admit that these phenomena sometimes do occur. Yet, people can avoid these issues by taking more prudent attitude and up-to-date high-technology measures.
    In short, the advantages of online shopping outweigh the disadvantages and I am in favor of the choice to buy products on the Internet. There is no doubt that online purchase will play an increasingly important role in the future.
