As far as I see it, there are two main advantages— environmentally-friendly and healthy.
    First of all, being a vegetarian is a friendly gesture to the environment As is known to industrial practitioners, to acquire a large area of land for farming purpose, one needs to cut down trees to make room for animal husbandry. Besides, the livestock farming also produces greenhouse gas, the leading cause of ozone depletion This is supported by a recent U.N. report, saying that as much as 18% of the planet’s greenhouse gas emission is from the farming industry. A third threat of meat consumption is the potential waste of water resources.
