    China has decided to develop new energy industry as one of the pillar industries in the next decade. The government’s initiatives to promote clean energy include the 60,000 RMB subsidies for every clean energy car purchase. The benefits of using clean energy are multiple, but I think "sustainability" and "green" are two key words. First of all, clean energy promises sustainable development for future generations. Clean energy is usually renewable energy, which has limitless capacity. If we use more clean energy, we could save the nonrenewable energy, such as fossil fuel, for our future generations. This can guarantee the sustainability of mankind. Second, clean energy is also green energy, which has little impact on the environment. In China, citizens are not strangers to sand storms and heavy haze, which are mainly caused by the emissions from petrol-powered vehicles. If we drive electrical cars, the environment will be better off without green-house gases or heavy metal particles. This will ultimately be beneficial to our health and well-being.
    In conclusion, using clean energy is a noble and helpful act to ensure sustainable development and a green life style. The former benefits our descendants and the latter benefits ourselves.
