    Social practice seems to be important and indispensable to college or university students, for one thing, they are required to learn more about society before their graduation. Undoubtedly, colleges and universities admit that social practice has more advantages than disadvantages. Firstly, it can offer students an opportunity to meet different types of working people, who are likely to tell them what they really need morally and intellectually in their future career. Secondly, students can try to apply what they have learned at school into practical work, besides knowing more about cooperation and discipline, which many students seem to neglect in universities.
    However, some problems may arise if no correct guidance is made. Driven by a strong desire to earn money, some students don’t see the necessity of their further college study. Actually, they feel reluctant to attend classroom lectures and want to work full4ime for money.
    In my opinion, students should be clearer about why social practice is of necessity to them. They should view social practice just as a useful supplement. They should understand that from social practice they get to be aware of what they are lack of in terms of their potential career so that they necessarily avoid temptation to make money and try to strike a balance between social practice and college studies.
