    I’m very glad that you invited me to travel to Shangri-la together with you this summer vacation. However, I’m afraid that I will not be able to go with you.
    The main reason is that I have been invited to attend an international conference as the student representative of our university this August, so I’ll have to spend a lot of time making preparation for the speech at the conference beforehand. Besides, my thesis, which is merely half done, is due at the beginning of next semester. A pile of documents and several surveys remain to be done during the summer vacation. What’s more, the traveling expense is also a problem since I’m saving money to buy a new laptop.
