Dear Daddy,
    Today is your fiftieth birthday, so allow me to take this opportunity to wish you a happy birthday.
    Every year on this day, I am reminded of what a father’s love means to his children. Ever since I was born, I took it for granted that parents should provide three meals a day for their children On December 16,2001, I rushed back from school with a bunch of flowers, hoping to give you a surprise, only to be greeted with a feast and a note on the table from Mom, saying that you came down with an illness due to overworking. All of a sudden, I came to realize what lay behind the meals you prepared for me, that is, love and sacrifice from a father.
    Four years has passed, but that day has encouraged me to work hard so as to live up to your expectations of me and repay your love in the future.
