    Although pop music is becoming more and more fashionable now, many people still think that it is too vulgar to be appreciated. They believe that the tune of pop music is simple and the language used in the pop songs is oral. It is not as graceful as classical music
    Others, however, can not agree with this point of view. They argue that the differences among various types of music lie in the different interests of people. In spite of simple tune and colloquial language, the pop music is just as appealing as other kinds of music. Besides, because it is easier to learn and appreciate, pop music is gaining more and more attention of people.
    My preference goes to the latter opinion. Pop music is as pleasant and elegant as other kinds of music. Moreover, it expresses well the emotions shared by the ordinary people. That is why it is so popular nowadays.
