     (1) According to the figures given by the graph, the Chinese farmers’ average annual income was rather low in 1978. Then it rose steadily. In 1988, it reached 460 yuan. In 1998, it reached 800 yuan. Better yet, there has been a swift growth since 1998. In 2008, it reached 1,500 yuan,and in 2014, it get to 3,000.
     (2) There are several reasons for the increase in the farmers’ income in China. Firstly, a large number of township enterprises had been set up with the reform and opening policies. Secondly, with the application of new technologies of agriculture, the agricultural output increased dramatically. At last, many farmers went to big cities to earn more money after they had finished their agricultural work. (3) This is an important reason for the significant increase of farmers’ income since 1998.
    I believe that with the rapid development of our country and a series of agricultural policies being carried out, there will be even more rapid development in China’ s agriculture. (4) There is no doubt that the farmers’ standard of living will be improved to a great extent.
