答案    It is not new to see students wearing school uniforms. In fact, most schools in China, both public and private, require their students to wear school uniforms.
   People’s opinions are divided on this issue. Some people hold that wearing school uniforms is beneficial to students in that they cannot judge their peers by the clothes they wear. Therefore, students, no matter from poor or rich families, are equal in this regard. In contrast, others think that wearing school uniform has a harmful impact on students’ individuality, which certainly does no good to their development.
   Taking different opinions into account, I believe school uniform is an indispensable part of school life due to its many merits, but we should not put too much emphasis on it.
