         The primary causes for this growth can be summarized as follows.For one thing, it can be said that the quality of the libraries in a country is second only in significance to the quality of teachers.Libraries are where pupils, university students and citizens spend many hours in doing homework and research for their book reports and term papers.For another, not only do libraries contain historical reference materials but information available as well.Meanwhile, the Internet has become such a rich resource of information that all libraries have plenty of computers available for readers’use.
         As a consequence, I hold the opinion that a thirst for knowledge cannot be quenched without a fully equipped library that contains several sets of reference books, treatises and periodicals.At the same time, it is crucial for every city to have large, comfortable, fully equipped and user-friendly libraries.
