It depends on what we  are reading and what’s our purpose of reading. If you are a rapid reader, you may be a good reader when you read a story book for fun, and it will not take you too much time. But when you have to read a textbook or a research report, you’d better slow your speed and read it word by word to avoid making any possible mistake. On the other hand, if you are a slow reader, you may be a good reader when you read some directions for making something. But you will waste a lot of time to read a simple story．
