    At the mention of stars, the concept of beauty will come into our mind. At present,a growing number of stars have taken plastic surgery so as to improve their looks, resulting in heat discussion on the necessity of plastic surgery for stars.
    Some people approve of it. On the one hand.it is believed that better looks will help stars become more impressive and thus more popular. On the other hand,people tend to consider beauty a crucial part of a perfect star. However, some others think it is unnecessary for stars to take plastic surgery. For one thing ,it is professional competence instead of appearance that is essential for stars. And efforts should be made to improve the competence. For another thing, stars may suffer a lot both physically and mentally from the high-risk plastic surgery.
    In my opinion, although appearance is important for stars, professional competence plays a more significant role. Stars do not have to take plastic surgery to become popular. In any case, hardworking is the only way to success.
