   With the development of technology, the Internet is increasingly having greater influence on our life. The daughter asked her father to read her blog to know what had happened today. Funny as it seems, it reminds us that we should attach much importance to the impacts that the Internet has on interpersonal communication.
   Apparently, the impacts are diverse. For one thing, the Internet brings great convenience to our communication for it eliminates the barrier of distance. For another, it is the Internet that does not enable family members, friends or classmates to communicate more in a face-to-face way. One case in point is that youngsters may spend hours chatting with acquaintances through QQ or MSN, but rarely talk with others face to face. Unfortunately, if we let this trend to continue as it is, the interpersonal relationship will, definitely, become alienated.
   From my point of view, it is advisable for people to communicate more with their families, friends and acquaintances in real life instead of merely through the Internet. Do bear in mind: the Internet is just a tool.
