One is my study and the other is a bedroom—nice and bright. At the back of the big room, a flight of stairs(楼梯)leads up to the second floor.
    The stairs lead into the living-room—it’s a nice, big room. It has windows in the north, south and west walls. This is where we spend most of our time when we’re not working. There is a big bedroom on this floor. It used to be two rooms, but we had a wall taken down. Between the living-room and the bedroom is a storeroom. We want to turn it into a small bedroom for guests, but we haven’t found the time to do it. [br] The writer moved into the house not long ago.
