    They arrived there at seven o’clock and asked the head waiter where their table was.
    "What was the name, sir?" asked the waiter.
    " Hassim," answered Mr. Hassim.
    The head waiter checked his reservation list and said, "I’m sorry, sir. There’s no Hassim in the list. And I’ve got no free tables. "
    Mr. and Mrs. Hassim both began to look annoyed.
    "No reservation? Impossible! I want to see the manager. "
    When the manager came, Mr. Hassim said angrily, "Your waiter says I have no reservation. I rang here at 10 o’clock this morning and made one. The name is Hassim. "
    "I’m very sorry, sir, but there’s no Hassim on our list. I’m sure we haven’t made a mistake. " Mr. Hassim’s face began to go dark with anger. "There is only one table not taken," said the manager, "and that’s in the name of Rajah. "
