The general misconception is that a building permit is required only if you are building a new home or undertaking a major construction, like the addition of another story to your home. 4. Please indicate your proposed building schedule and the name of your building contractor.
Construction work begun before a permit is granted will be subjected to stoppage and outright demolition at cost to the owner. After your application is approved, your building contractor will be issued a permit, which must be posted at the work site throughout the period of construction.
