Although he studied at Technical schools in Florida, Peterson attributes his success to his grandfather, Miles Peterson, for whom his stores are named. "He was the first one to teach me how to repair vehicles." "He said that my workplace would be a great place to meet our neighbors and I could find some ways to serve our communities." Peterson recalls.
Peterson makes a point of working at both of his grandfather’s current locations, personally overseeing the operations. However, he can appreciate that his growing business will make him delegate some responsibilities. So, next month, he will bring on long-time friend Ron Harris to his newest store.
