When you think of the Woodland Rose Festival, you might just think of red, yellow, white roses. However, this year we will feature boat races, games and classic music concerts in Woodland Park. You will enjoy our starlight parade and of course the grand floral parade. For the last 120 years, residents have enjoyed this annual event, passing on the traditions to other members of their family.
You’d better get up early to get a perfect spot to watch the very colorful and fragrant grand floral parade. You can hear those familiar sounds of people screaming with joy as they ride the roller coaster or the ferris wheel and the familiar smells of cotton candy and corn dogs. It’s like a step back in time no matter what your age. Come and enjoy! Woodland Park is located on the King’s Drive, just a short walk from downtown Meadow city. The festival will last from Thursday to Sunday this week. You will see big fireworks on Sunday night. The park opens 8 A.M to 11 P.M. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance of Woodland Park.
