Dear Mr. Simmons,
I want you to know that I had a wonderful time during a recent Southeast Asian cruise. I was greatly impressed by Victoria Cruise Line’s accommodating and caring staff. In particular, I can never forget Andrew Hudson, one of your tour guides, who helped me locate my purse when I lost it on the second day of the trip.
After a late afternoon stroll on the ship, I went to Flavors Bistro for dinner. As I was about to leave, I noticed that my purse was missing. I searched the table where I was seated, the restaurant, and other places I had gone, to no avail. Mr. Hudson saw me looking for something, so he came up to me and offered his assistance. He talked to waiters and asked some people from housekeeping if they had seen my purse. He also accompanied me to the security department to report my problem. The purse was not found that night, but Mr. Hudson called me in my room the next day to say that a housekeeper had retrieved my purse inside one of the ship’s restrooms.
If not for Mr. Hudson’s persistence, I think I would never have recovered my purse. He is really an asset to your company. I hope you will appreciate his dedication to his job and reward him accordingly. It is because of employees and service like this that I have often used your cruise line, and will continue to do so. Thank you.
