The project will provide the hospital eight new operating rooms with state-of-the-art medical equipment, 30 additional patient rooms, and an outpatient surgery waiting area. All these facilities will be housed in a new building designated as the Outpatient Surgery Center. The construction of the surgery center will start in September and is estimated to last a year and half. A new parking lot will also be completed within the same timeframe. The Margaret Labonte Memorial Hospital was established 30 years ago and now has about 600 employees.
