Good evening, and thank you for attending this evening’s session of our monthlong course offerings. My name is Lex Sanchez, and I’ll be your course director for this session of the program. Before we begin today, can you first check the packet you had received on your way in to see that all the materials have been provided? There should be one binder with the course materials contained therein, a pen, a notepad, and a calculator. If any of the aforementioned supplies are missing from your packet, please raise your hand, and one of the teaching assistants will come to your aid. If everything is in order, then please turn on your computer screens, and check to see that the software program is running. If you are having any technical difficulties, please hold your pen high in the air, and one of our computer technicians will come and assist you.
