Tonight, we welcome Robert Regan, author of City Steps: A History of Pittsburgh’s Streets. Dr. Regan is Associate Professor of Geography at Lawrence University. His professional career includes senior level positions in the federal government, major corporations, and universities. Also, however, he is an avid bicyclist who manages to ride his bicycle more than 2,000 miles a year around Pittsburgh. Dr. Regan says the city steps project was one of the most enjoyable of his career, combining his professional and personal interests.
