Thank you for visiting the Gemstone History Center. This facility exhibits over 1,000 specimens of minerals from the Sierra Madre Mountains and from different countries. So you will see uncut rubies and sapphires from sources all over the world. And our stunning varieties of minerals, many of which glow when viewed under a special light, are sure to amaze you. We encourage you all to touch and handle these large stones as you make your way around the center. Our tour will last about an hour, and afterward you can visit the gift shop. Now let’s get started.
