Thank you all for coming to our seminar on alternative energy. My name is Jerry Robertson, head scientist at New Abel Power Company. It is my pleasure to introduce our keynote speaker for this session, Dr. Heidi Balina. She has been one of the leaders in the field of solar energy research for the past 10 years. Her studies have led to major advances in the power generation and cost effectiveness of solar panels. Thus, she has received praise from economists as well as environmental awareness groups. This afternoon, Dr. Balina will be presenting to us a report from a solar energy plant in Australia, where she recently supervised the installation of new solar panels.
