However, a successful team needn’t be made up of nine members since some people may be more than one personality type. Thus a team of three could work together very successfully if, among them, the members combined the nine personality types.

There is a room in a team for the complete maverick, the person who doesn’t follow company roles all the time, and is a difficult, possible even disruptive element. It is possible to have that kind of person in a team. People have to understand where that person is coming from and, allow them to express their ideas and views, but of course, not necessarily, undertake to act on all their mad ideas.
