However, a successful team needn’t be made up of nine members since some people may be more than one personality type. Thus a team of three could work together very successfully if, among them, the members combined the nine personality types.

There is a room in a team for the complete maverick, the person who doesn’t follow company roles all the time, and is a difficult, possible even disruptive element. It is possible to have that kind of person in a team.
