Online advertising is a very cost-effective marketing technique. The cost goes toward the ad’s creation, posting and wide exposure to anyone who visits the site. Time and money is not wasted on printing and distribution. Then, in your opinion, what about the target group?
B: Well, I think internet advertising is perfect for today’s busy, impatient society. People want information quickly. With the Internet, people can type in what they are looking for and click on what interests them immediately from the comfort of their own home. Much of the information customers want can be accessed online without assistance.
A; Yes, people love the convenience of simply pulling information up on the computer as opposed to buying a newspaper or magazine. Not to mention that the Internet is always available. Ads and business websites can be viewed 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
B: I agree with you. The effectiveness of advertising on the computer can be tracked more readily than in print. It is easy to be able to see how many people have clicked on an ad, have viewed a page containing ads or have visited a company’s website.
