•Write a letter to the visitor outlining a timetable for the visit and describing the activities you have planned.

•Your manager is keen to introduce new practices into your company. He has asked you to write a report which includes details of two practices from another company which you would suggest adopting in your own company.
•Write the report for your manager, including the following information:
•what you admire about the other company
•which two of its practices you would adopt
•why your company would benefit from them.
•Write 200- 250 words on the separate answer paper provided.
3. Question 4
•Your company has employed an outside consultant to organize an exhibition of your products, to be held next month. His work is unsatisfactory, and your boss has now decided that you should take over full responsibility instead. Your boss has asked you to write to the consultant to explain why he has been replaced.
•Write the letter to the consultant;
  •giving two reasons why he has been replaced
  •telling him he will be paid for this work
  •asking him to brief you on the current situation.

     Further to our discussion of 6 April, I’m writing to describe the scheduled programme during your visit to our company(12-15 April). I’ll be waiting at the airport for your flight on Tuesday morning. Assuming the airliner arrives on time, I’ll take you right to your hotel so that you can take a rest and freshen up. As Mr Cooper wishes to see you before the meeting, a private talk has been arranged. We’ II then travel to the company site for the meeting which is set to run form 15: 30 to 17: 00. After such a busy day, I suggest a complete relaxation at a nearby entertainment centre: Wednesday’s meeting is due to start at 10: 00. A limousine has been arranged to pick you up at the hotel at 09:40. Since the meeting lasts for a whole day, our company will provide a working lunch. After work you’ll have some free time at your disposal before attend- hag a welcome banquet held at The Sheraton Hotel at 19:00.
     Your name has been entered for the Tennis Tournament(09: 30 on Thursday morning). Mr Cooper will collect you from your hotel at 09:00. After the competition there is a cock- tail party with some important local govern- meat officials at 12:30.
     A sedan will. pick you up from your hotel at 09:50 on Friday morning to take you to the airport in time for your 11:50 return flight. I look forward to seeing you on the 12th. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to call me at 010 8225 3922 if you have any questions.
