Dear Sir or Madam,
      I saw from your website that you are offering grants to small businesses. After thorough consideration, we would like to apply for this grant.
   Our company was founded in 1990 to produce food cans. It is located in a small village of China. Small as it is, it gets good harvest every year. However, without proper protection, the food couldn’t sell at a good price. In order to make full use of food surplus, our company has determined to make them into food cans. In this way, it can solve labor surplus problem as well. Meanwhile, reasonable price could also increase farmers’ income.
     However, faced with fierce competition, we can’t afford advanced equipment to improve the production line. That’s the reason why we apply for your grant.
     With this grant, we can buy three advanced equipment lines and send two skilled workers for training. Thus, we could improve the other production lines.
     If we could get the grant successfully, we promise to turn part of our profits into good use: to improve the farming condition and agriculture technology of our village.
