    I am writing this proposal to apply for an additional post in our department. As sales have been greatly increased recently, we are now short of hands and are in need of an additional receptionist to assist our work.
    The person appointed as the receptionist is expected to perform such duties as answering phones and questions from the customers, introducing our company and products to them as well as dealing with other businesses when necessary.
    Candidates interested in this post are supposed to possess the following qualities: female, under 30, with good appearance and stature, bachelor’s degree or above, business or marketing major preferred, at least one year’s working experience related to this field, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong ability for teamwork, confident and outgoing character as well as good command of English.
    In terms of treatment, we intend to offer a most competitive remuneration package to the qualified candidate, including decent salary, bonuses, perquisites, medical insurance, housing allowance and other fringe benefits, all of which will be higher than the national average; besides, we will provide plenty of chances for career training and individual development; also, the appointed employee is entitled to enjoy an annual vacation with pay after working for one year.
