答案 Dear Manager,
I’m writing with reference to the recent increase in price of air-conditioning. It’s really not a pleasant thing as you know we have been in very good cooperation relationship for so long a time. However, with price of raw materials and cost of production increased, there is no other way but to increase the price of air-conditioning this summer.
I do appreciate your kind understanding to this increase in price as you know we don’t get many profits from selling the air-conditioning these years, and the inflation in prices of raw materials and cost of production left us with no profits at at. Measures like trimming cost laying off some inefficient workers have been adopted, in spite of this a rise in price is inevitable I hope this event won’t do any harm to our current cooperation as you know the quality of our products has always enjoyed very good fame and our after-sale services are always satisfying.
What’s more, our prices are still a little lower than the market price despite several new products, which will be very competitive
As the summer season is drawing near and the selling season is at hand, a meeting with us for further discussion about the products and the prices will be arranged next Saturday. We really hope you can make it to the meeting.
