The report sets out to discuss the feasibility of opening a new branch in Paris next year. Our company is performing very well, with the exports increased by 60% in five years. The Western European market is especially prosperous, and the demand for our products has been increasing sharply these years and exports to that part account for 40% of our total output. The rapid development of the market in Western Europe leads to greater demand for more resources and power allocated in that region. As a result, a new branch is necessary for further development.
Having a thoughtful consideration, we will see that there would be many advantages to open a new branch there. First, market of that area can be developed more effectively and thoroughly. Second, feedbacks of the customers can be obtained at first hand so that immediate adjustments can be made to the products. Third, it will allow us to gain a secure foothold to develop more markets abroad. Therefore, it should be emphasised that a new branch there should be opened.
With the new branch opened next year, some experienced managers and sales persons should be sent to guide the newly-recruited local people. Market segmentation of that area will be necessary and products made according to the local people’s requirement will be manufactured.
