Introduction
I am writing this report to give my investigation about the necessity of recruiting more receptionists in our department.
Findings
As the Sales Department of a property firm, our department is mainly in charge of receiving customers and showing them around our buildings. We have now 15 receptionists in all, with two in maternity leave. And the others have to meet about 10 customers a day each.
As new buildings have been developed recently, more customers come for property inspection, but there are not enough receptionists are to meet all the customers and satisfy their specific needs. As a result, many customers complain that they don’t receive warm receptions. As we all know, the current receptionists have already worked very hard and spared no efforts in their jobs, so it is impossible to give them more pressure. What’s more, our company is operating very well and more receptionists are needed in the long run.
Conclusion
Therefore, I believe that more experienced receptionists should be recruited to fill the vacant positions as early as possible so as to satisfy our customers better and make more profits in the future.
Recommendations
As we are in urgent need of receptionists, people with relative experiences will be more attractive. We can ask the staff to recommend their friends who are good in this field as well as advertise in the newspapers and on the nets.
