   •A foreign business associate is visiting your company for three days．You have been asked to organize the visit and plan appropriate entertainment．
   •Write a letter to the visitor outlining a timetable for the visit and describing the activities you have planned．

   •Your manager is keen to introduce new practices into your company．He has asked you to write a report which includes details of two practices from another company which you would suggest adopting in your own company．
   •Write the report for your manager；including the following information：
   •what you admire about the other company
   •which two of its practices you would adopt
   •why your company would benefit from them．

   •Your company has employed an outside consultant to organize an exhibition of your products，to be held next month．H is work is unsatisfactory，and your boss has now decided that you should take over full responsibil ity instead．Your boss has asked you to write to the consultant to explain why he has been replaced．

     Further to our discussion of 1ast mail，I’m writing to outline a timetable for the visit and describe the activities during your visit．
     I’ll be waiting for you at the airport on Tuesday morning．Assuming the airliner arrives on time，I’ll take you right to your hotel so that you can take a rest and fresh up．Mr.Cooper wishes tO invite you for luneh at the hotel．You might meet him in the hotel lobby at 12:30．Then a formal meeting is scheduled from 15:00 to 17:00 in our company．After such a busy day，I suggest a complete relaxation at a nearby entertainment centre．Wednesday’s meeting is due to start at 10:00．A limousine has been arranged to pick you up at the hotel at 9:40．Since the meeting lasts for a whole day，our company will provide a working lunch．After work you’ll have some free time at your disposal before attending a welcome banquet held at The Sheraton Hotel at 19:00．
      I will pick you up from your hotel at 9:50 the last day to take you to the airport in time for your return flight．
