In this part of the test you are asked to give a short talk on a business topic. You have to choose one of the topics from the three below and then talk for about one minute. You have one minute to prepare your ideas.

?I’m going to give each of you a choice of 3 topics. I’d like you to choose one of the topics and give a short presentation on it for about a minute. You will have about a minute to prepare for this and you can make notes if you wish while you prepare. After you have finished your talk, your partner will ask you a question.
?All right? Here are your topics.
[Interlocutor hands each candidate a different topic card, and some paper and pencil for notes Interlocutor:

[1 minute’s preparation time. Both candidates pre pare their talks at the same time, separately.]
Interlocutor:
?All right nova. Candidate Two, which topic have you chosen, A, B or C? Would you like to talk a bout what you think is important when promoting a product?
[Candidate Two talks]
There are two main aspects we must take into consideration when promoting a product. Firstly, we must guarantee the superb quality of products. A product with poor quality will be purchased by consumers. Cheating customers is a kind of committing suicide, for you are leading your company to death which your opponents happily see. Second, after purchase, a company’s work is far from over, onthe contrary, it’s just a beginning. Much after-sales service is to be served. Perfect after-sales service can keep our old customers and attract new customers.
Interlocutor:
?Thank you. Now, Candidate One, please ask Candidate Two your question about his/her talk.
[Candidate One asks question.]
Do you think advertising is an effective way to promotion?
Candidate TWO: yes. I think so. I admit advertising is an very effective way to promot a new product. What I’d like to add is that certain, advertising should be based on quality of products and good customer service
Interlocutor:
?Thank you. All right. Now, Candidate One, which topic have you chosen, A, B or C? Would you like to talk about what you think is important when planing your career?
[Candidate One talks]
Well, it’s common sense that everyone should plan his or her career. It’s vital to do that. But many are still puzzled how to plan career, in my opinion, first, we should have a good education. It does not you are not promising if you do not get a good diploma, I means whatever you school are, famous or not, you should work hard and have a solid foundation for your work. Second, I think we should acquire necessary knowledge. It’s more important that just having a good dipoma. Remember, many successful people, such as Benjamin Franklin and Bill Gates, had little education or haven’t finished education.
Interlocutor:

What can a company do for career planning?
Candidate One: As is known to all, a company is made up of individual employees, the Company should help employees to learn about themselves as much as they can, makes sure that each is appointed to a most suitable position to increase productivity.
