    What do you want to study at the university? This is a difficult issue for secondary school students. In China’s current educational system, until the end of final examinations, students may not be clear about what major to choose. In the selection process of a major, parents and teachers become their principal advisers.
    Many college students have admitted that their choices are not for their own interests. In the secondary school stage, they are immersed in books all day. For each profession, they do not fully understand. Moreover, they may not be clear about the country’s employment situation. In other words, when the secondary school graduates are facing the choice of major, the information which they have got was pitiful. As a result, they all aspire to the so-called popular specialties. For example, law, finance, business administration, computers, and so on. However, when these students graduate from college, they discovered that the major they have learned has limited market. This situation highlights the question; the gap between the major choice and market demand.
    When is the best time of professional choice? A relatively mature attitude should be formed when it comes to making choice, do not make hasty decisions in the Black June each year. It is more reasonable for the students to decide on their major while enrolled in college where there are professional advisers who know about all the academic programs and are dedicated to helping students, and when you have some real idea for your future career.
