    In modern society, young people spend most of the time to increase their working achievement and make more money in the face of fierce competition. Thus a problem that makes their parents worried is that young people put aside personal issues, including their marriage.
    Some people claim that what those parents do is good to their children,because they consider parents have accumulated many years of life experience. They are able to distinguish what kind of people are suitable to their children.Yet one thing they ignore is that the standard of an ideal mate is rather different between parents and children, which will directly affect the result of choosing the ideal mate.
    In my opinion, it is unwise for parents to make arrangements for the children’s marriage. Some parents believe that as long as more dating partners are arranged for their children, the chances of marriage will be greatly enhanced. The fact is that the result is not as good as they wish. A survey shows that 90% dating arranged by the parents is resultless. Some young people are unable to remember how many times they have seen the dating partners, however, the perfect one still has been hardly found out. In some cases, the dating partners keep silent all the time because they have little in common, while their parents chat enthusiastically as old friends of many years. It can be imagined how the final result will be.
    As a Chinese proverb says: "Haste brings no success". Although the feelings of the parents can be understood, it is not suitable for them to arrange dating partners for their children. So let young people to make their own decisions for they must draw on themselves to acquire happiness.
