    Nowadays, people in growing numbers are coming to realize the importance of science and technology. The 21st century is an information age. Whether one succeeds or not in the competitive world relies on the grasp of new technology. Therefore, in my opinion, the most urgent issue facing the world people in the 21st century is education. Just because of education, our world is a civilized and modern one.
    Among the new technologies, the computer is the brightest star. That means if one wants to master the world, he must master the computer. The reason is that the computer allows vastly increasing production for those who are able to master it. It is also a combination of arts and technology. Education is the only way to train various talented persons required. They in turn develop newfangled computers and spur our society forward.
    If a country doesn’t quicken the steps of educational reform, it won’t catch up with the world level. In order to realize it, we must take some actions, such as investing a large sum of funds to modernize laboratories and libraries, introducing talented professionals, laying the foundation for offering advanced courses. With a strong basis of education, we can stand up to whatever difficulties.
