答案     This summer, I travelled to Italy from France. I was actually travelling in France at that time, and out of a whim, I decided to go to Italy as well. I’d always wanted to visit Italy, the place where many western arts and cultures began. Besides, the communications between France and Italy is also convenient and fast. Trains are one of the fastest ways to reach Italy from France.
    I made the journey by myself. I started my journey from Paris station and ended it at Ventimiglia in Italy. Because it’s a long distance journey and might take around a night to reach Italy, I booked a sleeping car with attached bathroom facility. It took around six hours to arrive in Italy. The train ran at a great speed indeed, around 180 kilometres per hour. But getting the train ticket was really hard for me, especially a sleeping compartment. It was not only a bit more expensive, but also not available without pre-booklng. Fortunately, my uncle, who is working in the railway, managed to get the ticket for me after going through lots of troubles.
    On my trip, I visited several different parts of the country and stayed there for about a week. I was amazed by its natural views, golden beaches, and met with a large collection of people. I got to know about its cultures, took part in different activities and more. What attracted me most about Italy was its traditional foods. I enjoyed them greatly. Apart from the amazement I got from the country, I also enjoyed my ride on the train. It got fast speed and excellent facilities. It appears that this is a very fast route between the two countries. So, I didn’t have to spend much time on the road. So, after my visit, I chose to return France by the same train. It was a great journey for me indeed.
