Currently, there’s no such system in mainland China and I do hope the government can consider this issue seriously as soon as possible. Films with strong language aren’t suitable for children because children’s language use may be influenced. Films with excessive violence aren’t suitable either because children may be emotionally hurt and shocked by the violent scenes. Watching violent scenes may even make children more prone to behave violently. Also, films with sex scenes aren’t suitable either.
