答案 　　I’ve been working at a restaurant as a part-timer for a year and a half, responsible for taking orders, collecting the bill and taking inventory. I’ve learned a lot about restaurant management from the owner. This experience plants the seed of my ambition to have a restaurant of my own.
　　Opening a restaurant isn’t a big deal indeed, but there’re risks to be taken, such as bankruptcy. To secure success, I need to make a lot of preparations, and the most important of all is learning how to manage a restaurant effectively. And my work at the restaurant is perfect because I can learn as much as I want about this aspect. Also, managing money is another important issue. Opening a restaurant doesn’t mean that you will have a lot of euros at hand all the time. So I shall have finance down pat too. So to speak, I figure I will have to stay there for quite some time and might have to wait for 5 or 6 years to finally own a restaurant.
　　This is an important and meaningful goal for me. I’m a management major. I believe that running a restaurant enables me to put into practice the knowledge, skills and experiences I’ve learnt, so that I can make something of myself. I always take delight in achieving a sense of self-fulfilment. What’s more, I do like challenges. Starting my own business forces me to move forward on the field of management and explore fields that I know little of, such as finance and accounting. I believe it would be an eye-opening experience for me. I can’t wait to make my dream come true.
