In my opinion, teachers are far from being replaced by computers. For one thing, the cost of hardware needed for computer-teaching is much higher than hiring teachers. For another, I think teaching isn’t just about "transferring" knowledge, but also about cultivating students’ personality. So it’s a job that requires direct human interaction and emotional communication. All in all, I think the role of teachers will remain active in the foreseeable future.
